Committees

• The Community Action Committee works to raise funds for the school and activities, plan special events and generally help to add that extra special touch. This committee hosted our Family Partnership Night.
   
• The Facilities Committee will assess Odyssey’s facilities needs by evaluating our long terms needs and goals, researching options, visiting other schools, and finally presenting a long range facility plan.
   
• The Finance Committee works with our business consultant on planning and monitoring Odyssey’s financial health. This committee will plan and propose the yearly budget, will review governmental funding levels and will explore grant and other funding sources. We need input from the whole community as we set priorities.
   
• The Human Resources Committee supports the staff at Odyssey by offering staff a place to voice concerns, reviewing pay scales and benefits, and planning for adequate levels of staffing in the school.
   
• The Marketing/Recruiting Committee works to market and promote Odyssey.
   
• The School Improvement Committee focuses on ways to strengthen school community. This includes monitoring scope and sequence, aligning Odyssey curriculum to state standards, supporting staff development, and reviewing assessment data.
   
• The Technology Committee will work to expand and improve our technology hardware and implementation. A long-range technology plan will be developed and funding sources explored.
